Do you know your Bible?

Do you know what it means to be a Christian?

A recent conversation reminded me how many people claim to be Christian while actually not believing in the principles of Christianity. The word, Christian, has become a universal term. New Age is blending with Christianity to create a new false religion. Some Buddhists are blending Christianity with their gods. Lots of church-going Christians have unbiblical ideas of what it means to be a Christian.

Dating a believer doesn’t make you a Christian.

Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian.

We have to be careful what movies, music, and books we endorse on our social media as the people who put them out are not always a believer, but may claim to be one.

If you endorse something, people who admire and emulate you will believe what you say, too. A heavy responsibility lies with us on social media to be sure of what we approve of. How to Read the Bible For Yourself

When we read, we do not generally really think until we are faced with a problem to be solved, a mystery to be unraveled or a puzzle to be deciphered. Until our minds are challenged, and shift from passive reading to active reading, we drift right over lots of insights.  READ MORE.
