Connecting online is just one step to Christian unity, but using a Community Volunteer to lead unity and prayer in his or her local area is another way we create holistic ministry of mind, body, and soul. It’s all about bringing the body of believers from the pews to the online world and the online world back into fellowship with a body of believers or first into a relationship with Christ. The Community Volunteer is important as many churches struggle with social media and technology. They can also bring a unique prayer movement to their inner city or town square through partnering with local churches. The prayer movement focuses on the individual connecting across economical and cultural boundaries through caring for them and establishing relational connections with them.

Prayer is focused on the individual’s needs without “selling” a church institution. It’s love as a verb.
