“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” [Matthew 28]
As Jesus called each of the disciples, he said, “come, follow me.” Being a Christian is not just about fellowship, it is about “followship.” That is, Jesus is not only our Wonderful Savior, He is also our Sovereign Lord.” [H.Warren]
Jesus calling is the command he issued, and in a nutshell, H. Warren’s statement is the entire message of the book of Matthew. As believers in Christ, we are commanded.
Now the question is will you and I be a part of the “followship” of believers?
