  • Must have been a believer for two years.
  • If an online social media missionary violates our guidelines, statement of beliefs, or bylaws, we have a three strike rule. First strike, a friendly warning. Second strike, a written warning. Third strike, last written warning. Fourth, CMI will delete your profile and sever our agreement.
  • Help people find a church in their local area on request through whatever means possible (i.e. talking to a pastor at a church in their area via email, etc., or helping them discern a church that meets their immediate needs through website searches and communications).
  • If someone comes to Christ, please contact admin@cataclysmmissionsintl.com immediately (text or email or FB message okay, too), and keep CMI in the loop as you connect the new believer with a church in his or her local area. Please make sure the pastor of that church knows this person is a new believer. Connect the pastor with the new believer.
  • Must keep CMI in the loop on where your chosen online forum or place is to evangelize.

Be creative! CMI doesn’t micromanage, but has these agreements to protect its mission and vision. We appreciate our volunteers and wish to reward their efforts by cross-networking with them, allowing them to use affiliate linking, and to add a one line for fundraising efforts for short term missions trips or missionary support.

Community Volunteer

  • As a Community Volunteer, you make connections in your own local area with ministry and church leaders.
  • Help churches become aware of CMI and represent CMI to the churches and ministry organizations.
  • Help churches and ministry leaders become social media aware. In other words, CMI’s goal is to bring the people out of the pews online to use their social media in a missional way, whether or not they decide to become a social media missionary with us. CMI also wishes to bring those online to church and to help people understand the Biblical worldview of church.
  • Required to attend monthly online meetings.
  • CMI reserves the right to let go of a Community Volunteer if they violate our statement of faith, behavior guidelines, or bylaws.
  • Weekly work hours is dependent upon the creativity of the volunteer. During the monthly online meeting, the volunteer will report on his or her activities and if they have made inroads with local ministries and churches in their community.
  • Please submit a bio, headshot, and contact information in addition to your application via email.
  • Forms a multi-church prayer group that meets twice a month; once to get prayer requests and the second date to fellowship together as a small group and pray for each other and the prayer requests received (more information available upon request). Partnerships okay.
